Cassandra (Mrs. H), is the owner and Head Teacher at The Litchfield School House. She has been enjoying teaching for 14 years. For six years, she taught as a substitute teacher in the Thomaston Public Schools. She worked in preschool classrooms, in art & music classrooms and with children with special needs. While working as a substitute teacher, Mrs. H also taught English and Fashion Marketing courses at Briarwood College. Having worked with children of various ages, she realized she belonged in a preschool classroom. For seven years, she taught preschool at School on the Green. Now, she feels fortunate to take all her previous experiences and open her own preschool.

Aside from her teaching experiences, Mrs. H also holds an Associates Degree in Fashion Marketing, a Bachelor's Degree in English and her Head Teacher certificate for preschool. She is also CPR and First Aid certified.

Mrs. H resides in Litchfield with Mr. H, her twin stepchildren, and their cat and dog. She loves drinking coffee and is known for her frog obsession.
